Build a super fast Pinewood Derby car with this precut pine body. Low profile and aerodynamic, the Atomic Wedgie body is geared toward speed. All of our 3/8" dia cylinder weights fit its pre-drilled weight cavities including our lead wire, steel cylinders, zinc round weights and tungsten cylinders.

The Atomic Wedgie satisfies all BSA Pinewood Derby dimensional requirements and comes with axles slots in the standard BSA position. The body is also available with official BSA Pinewood Derby wheels and axles.

This super fast body is precision cut and ready-to-finish for those who want a great looking, great racing car but may not have the necessary tools or skills. Just sand and paint.

Note: This body will require approximately 3 oz of additional weight, not including wheels and axles, to get the car′s total weight up to the maximum 5 oz.  Tungsten Cylinders or Lead Wire are the recommended weights for this body.

Lead wire is less expensive and works fine.  However, tungsten is non-hazardous and allows for a more aggressive center of gravity.
