Description 4 oz Lead Wire Lead wire is a low cost weight for Pinewood Derby cars. It is almost two times the weight by volume as zink weights. 4 oz 3/8 inch dia Approx 5.5 inches long Fits into 3/8 inch drill bit hole Caution: Lead is a toxic material. Handle with extreme care. Do not allow contact with open wounds, eyes, mouth, etc. Immediately wash hands after use. Tungsten is a safer alternative. The Derby Monkey recommends using tungsten over all other weighting materials.
