The Monkey Snot Axle Polish is an exceptional two-part polish for polishing Pinewood Derby axles. Simply use a polishing cloth and Monkey Snot to give your axles a quick and easy awesome polish.
Monkey Snot 1: Is a cutting polish that removes rough spots and gives the axles a basic polish.

Monkey Snot 2: Is an agent that polishes the axles to further reduce friction and makes for a very fast car.
There is enough polish to treat many sets of axles.
Instructions:
- Remove crimp marks on axles with a file
- Use a basic sandpaper kit to rough polish axles (up to at least 600 grit)
- Then use Monkey Snot 1
- Place axle in drill
- Shake bottle very well
- Dab a small amount of Monkey Snot 1 (green) on a ¼” strip of microfiber cloth
- Turn on drill and polish axel for 40 seconds.
- At first, the surface may turn dark.
- After 40 seconds the surface will show a bright surface.
- If the surface remains dark and there is polish buildup then too much polish was used, so clean and start over.
- Clean axle well before polish dries.
- Repeat process with Monkey Snot 2 (white)
