Description
Slotted 1" Tungsten Disc
This new versatile 1″ tungsten disc has several benefits and uses. The slot enables the car builder to better use the disc without having to clip the ends of the axles. You can use the disc with or without the included wood dowel insert.
One way to install the disc is to use the included rectangular wood dowel. Glue the wood dowel into the slot. Then glue the disc into a 1” hole in the car body. Position the disc so that the wood dowel is aligned with the axle holes or slots. Then re-drill/cut the axle holes/slots. This will allow you to use full length axles or a solid axle if you wish.

| One thought I have is the Slot allows for a more aggressive CG placement of the Disc without interfering with the axle tips. With the Slotted Disc they have the option of installing the Disc as far forward (In front of the rear axles) as they wish or they can move the Disc as far back (more aggressive CG) as anyone would be able to and still keep the car stable, without any interference with the rear axle tips. It is like melting Tungsten and pouring or molding it around the Axle Slot. In regard to installation method #1 you could also put wood in the slot on each side of the Centered Block.
