The provided tungsten cubes and the car′s weight pocket design allows you to adjust the COG from ¾″ to an aggressive ½″. What does this mean for you?… SPEED. 

The pine body is precision cut with a CNC guided laser for perfect balance and symmetry. The axle holes or slots are then drilled or cut perfectly straight and parallel to each other.  With drilled axle holes the left front is raised so that the wheel makes no track contact.  This is a BSA standard wheelbase car designed to fit almost any rulebook. The kit is available with Official BSA Pinewood Derby Wheels and Axles.

You can build your own kit by selecting Official BSA Pinewood Derby wheels and axles to go with your car.  Some possibilities are as follows:

This kit is legal for most Pinewood Derby and other pine car events.  However, please check your local rules for what cars, kits and components are permitted.

The Derby Monkey Xtreme Speed Series Kits only uses tungsten for weight.  Tungsten is much safer and heavier than lead.
